Guest guest
went through the FULL battery of tests today - psychological as well as educational. A neuropsychologist is supervising and interpreting the test results. I really liked him as well as the his two associates. It's a shame that he does not also treat OCD. He and an associate dr interviewed me for about 1 1/2 hours. The questions were easy enough - stuff we've all answered countless times ( " How many times DID you drop your daughter on her head as a newborn " <g>) I found myself getting more and more angry at the school as the dr confirmed some of my feelings that the school had passed the buck and was failing miserably in teaching and helping her feel safe there. went through it all with flying colors - she spent from 9 AM until 5:30 PM with them, with only 45 minutes off with me for lunch. quite grueling. I'm exhausted tonight, but pleased to have this behind us. We meet with the team next Tuesday to hear their findings. Thanks for all your support. Y'all are the best!
