good afternoon all, with viola home i had to break up my workouts. of course i did P90 Sculpt 1-2 first to get a quick weight workout in.aftewards i did the cardio segment of the burn fat fast workout. i was starting the weight segment when viola woke up so i had to wait until after lunch to do the 2nd segment. moving on... the warmup is denise and two other background exercisers that seem like having to much fun with these cheesy moves. some were squats and knee up and all that but she was trying to do a hula type dance to warm up your hips. felt silly but i can have a a good laugh today. they looked like they were working in out on waterfront property in a airy bright living room. it was all white except for a few things here and there with hardwood floors. the cardio segment denise has about 4-5 back ground exercisers in the same setting. she called this a dance workout but

as the reviews i have read said, the cardio was goofy and not really dance at all. it was fun and typical denise so i wasn't to surprised. its not that bad but just not my thing. the toning segment she is back to two background exercisers. this segment uses light weights b/c you are doing compound exercises(ex, squats with bicep curls). she moves the first few reps rather slow then picks up the speed. not uncommon in denises toning workouts but what i liked is that it was fast paced so it had a cardio effect. i personally wouldn't call it a toning workout for myself but it felt like i got a good mini workout with it. the last segment is stretch. denise stands solo on this and its a very quick stretch but it was still nice. this dvd is well chaptreed so you can just do the individual segment OR you can do 3 select workouts, w/u with cardio and c/d, w/u with weights and c/d, and

everything together for around 50 min workout. the warm up and stretch are 5mins a piece and the cardio and weights segments are 20 mins a piece. denise is just her same perky self but not totally annoying like most of her other workouts. the cardio was kind of cheesy and i have way better dance workouts but she had something going with that toning segment. but not a workout for me, i can't wait to try her core complete ball workout whenever netflix gets it in. i love netflix for this, a try before i buy. have a great day all, going to try to get a short yoga practice in later. dh is coming home early this afternoon, so its hard to get much in with him in the living room LOL. kassia
