Guest guest Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Donna, I only tried the Yoga Toes once yesterday since I was trying out exercises with the stability ball. The PT suggested I wear them because I was barefooted (not wearing my New Balance and orthotics) and he felt this would help me in achieving better balance in barefeet/ankles while improving core trunk area on the ball. He explained to me that everyone in the Yoga classes here now wears them, since they not only strengthen and stretch toes and ankles, but for some of the longer Yoga positions, they provide a deeper sense of balance, thereby letting one assume and hold the position longer. I did Yoga so long ago - we never had anything like this to use. I am going to drop in on one of the Yoga classes and see who's using them here next week.
