Guest guest
Joana, Yes, even slim persons can have elevated cholesterol. And from what I have been reading, high cholesteral can have a genetic link. I have also heard of the " stress factor " involvement too. As for herbs for it, I can't help there, but here 2 natural ways to reduce it are to eat a bowl of oatmeal for 30 days (I think in the UK this is referred to porridge) and also we have a breakfast cereal called " Cheerios " which is another dietary way to help lower cholesterol. Also here we eat alot of fruits and vegetables. Dr. Greg told me/for that the best diet for us with CMT is one that is " heart healthy " so that would mean one that is low in cholesterol too. Take a look at this website http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=1200000 there is some cholesterol info there, also a quiz - if you take the quiz, you get a free cookbook (I just took the quiz myself! Hey, I want the free cookbook lol) I feel that if I had just been through the London bombings, plus the shooting, I certainly would be stressed out bigtime now! ~ Gretchen
