Greg wrote, " I would suggest light weight lifting in the morning (after a

I disagree with the recommendation of drinking a cup of coffee every morning

for the caffeine to boost metabolism. Many with CMT suffer from tremors - I

know I do. Caffeine exacerbates the condition. I'd also recommend working

with a dietician and a physical therapist in any effort to gain weight that

involves eating more and strength training. There is a fine line between

eating enough and eating too much. The same goes for lifting weights.

Thanks to everyone who has given me the information. I do eat well also and

like I said, sometimes you just want to tell people to leave " me alone " ....or

tell them what's going on, but they don't want to hear it and in a way, I can't

blame them. It just amazes me that they always want to blame it on something

" Bad " ...Instead of asking is something wrong, they'll say you're skinny and

leave it at that. Oh well, that's life...lol
