it's possible to find a gardenia ABSOLUTE which will cost you an arm and a

leg and your firstborne child... but not a true essential oil.

it won't steam distill...

The source you listed, Misty, offers several truly nonexistent

eo's... ambergris? musk? bayberry? carnation? dragonsblood?

mislabeling and false advertising...

they give pagans a bad name!

Ack! A while ago I was looking for a magnolia eo to smell like the flower.

It seems like I keep getting my heart set on the ones that do not exist or

would cost the equivalent of our national budget to produce.

It is so hard to know, isn't it Misty? I think all we can do is research

ourselves, ask information of people we trust on places like this list, and

ask suppliers for more information about their products. And, do not be

intimidated when suppliers do not like your questions. They want your money

and you have every right to question what they are selling to you. I think

most reputable business people online are happy to discuss their product with

you including educating you as to how distinguish good from bad. If I find a

company who refuses to discuss such things with me or who tries to intimidate

me for asking, well, I have my answer, don't I? There are some really

educated, experienced, honest, and caring people on these lists. Accept

their offers of help and ask away. :-))

because I know that some of the products that they list as EO's do not exist.

perhaps as synthetic fragrance oils, but not as eo's.
