Guest guest
Joana, It is prescribed for both, although you do not need to have pain in order for them to prescribed it for depression. I assume the opposite with neurological pain. Since I do not have pain, someone else may want to answer how it helps. The only side effect I had (and it sounds like others) is fatigue for the first several weeks that you are on it. As long as you have the luxary to take a nap, it is not too bothersome. I am lucky because I work from home and would just lay down for a little while and get back up and work. The fatigue does hit like a ton of bricks, but it fades and now I have more energy than ever, due to being more active and it being summertime. Less fatigue due to less clothes and no cold to deal with. Ask your doctor about and see what he knows. Jackie
