Guest guest
Please, when you read this, take a moment of silence and remember all our members in London and throughout the UK. Joana, Donna, Will, and all others, know our special thoughts and prayers are with you at this horrible time. When you're able, let us know how you are doing. Guest guest
Dear Gretchen, Many Thanks for your special thoughts.Thank you!!!I am speechless! So sorry for today...another day of terror here!So many lives gone. Life could be much better. So many people died and my heart is broken. They was 4 bombs in different places...it was a nightmare... Hard to accept this awful reality. People, early morning going to work, never though it would be their last breath of life...What tragedy!!! I am shocked still...no one could expect this...politicians were busy in Scotland with the G8 summit I guess...I was telling you regarding the G8 and also the live8.com yesterday...so much hope and I was so pleased with all that...G8 ideas...Helping Africa, try to put things right, giving people better living opportunities etc. Now, seems that everything changed. Once more Terror took place, they are everywhere and no one has peace in their minds. Today was a tragic day for us. London stopped ...we have to live life with fear in our hearts. So sad world we live in... God is in my heart and I pray here for those who lost their lives today. God Bless them...Poor innocent people! Guest guest
Joana and all of our CMT friends in London, I am so glad you are all well. Having lost many friends/co-workers on 9/11 I unfortunately have to say that that awful day on London soil is one you will never forget. You will always remember exactly what you were doing when the first news came. It is a terrifying time we live in and like you Joana, I don't think there is a way to stop terror completely. It will never stop. How scary it is to think that these awful people could be living in the same town for months and we never know it. I can also say that these awful events will make you a stronger country. Because you have to become stronger. My prayers are with you all! Elaina. Guest guest
My Dear Elaina, Thanks you so much for your email. The unthinkable became reality. Now more than 50 people confirmed dead and many still lost yet700 badly injured.People are in alert everywhere, even in USA...as I could see yesterday on CNN, all this brings back memories of the September 11 unfortunately! Today in London , everything seems normal... people here are very stronger and determined to carry on always with great hope, and not be intimidated by all those attacks! We must carry on, live our lives with dignity and faith! Yes, one day all this will be different when our leaders will understand that war needs to stop and money has to be spend on good causes. If people only understand better the law of cause and effect, many of this attacks, war, invasions would never happened. You see, at the end we are responsible for all of this hatred, don't you think? On G8 summit they agreed to help Africa...at least is a beginning , but not much progress in the environmental issues! Things needs to move urgently and nobody seems to take those issues very seriously. Elaina, where are you in USA, not in Florida, I hope...please tell me how are things over there regarding the Hurricane Dennis. I will pray for all of us. Take care and please, on next email tell me more about how your foot is going. I wish you get well soon. Hugs Joana
