Guest guest
Hi guys, I checked at Wal-Mart this week for bottles and only a few were left at ours. I asked for them to reorder for me since I was running low on these for lotion and they tell me, " this is a seasonal item and will not be reordered until spring " . Seasonal because they are mostly used for people traveling and the down time is winter months. I suggest if anyone uses these bottles, you better get there and gather up all you can find if all Wal-Marts are like ours they'll be gone in a flash till spring. :-( I picked through and bought all they had and it's not enough to even fill the orders I have right now. Guess I'll be headed to all the other stores in the area to see if they have any left. I also find they are easy to just go pick up, but I find bottles easier to label on the web sites of suppliers and lower priced as well. These 4oz bottles are the dickens to label because of the way they are made. I hate to have to pay shipping and worse of all I hate waiting on orders, but think I'll switch to online suppliers because I can get what I need when I need them. I was pretty upset when Wal-Mart told me they couldn't order these bottles for me, I'd just have to wait till spring. NOT! I'll sell out of what I bought there and won't buy them anymore if they wanna be that way. lol I hate trying to get labels to lay right on them anyway. NOT! > Sorry for the disappointment, but retailers do order at least 6 months in advance from suppliers, it's just the nature of the business. It's like Big Lots states in there ads, if you see it now buy it now, it might not be here next week. Shirley Ann
Guest guest
I'm really surprised with your Wal-Mart. There are 4 in my general area, (within 50 miles) When I went and purchased all of the 4 oz bottles, the gal asked if I would like for her to order especially for me. They can order as they need. My daughter works in a Wal Mart. She asked if they would order and they said yes. All I have to do it give them the product number and the amount that I want. So far, from the four stores I've been able to get enough bottles. -- Green Kennewick, WA AJ's Udder Delight Dairy Goats http://www.nwinfo.net/~milkmaid

Well, I had about 250 little pillowcases made to fit them so I went to the store manager. He said no problem, we can order them. So now, I just order 5 or 6 cases whenever I want. Usually takes 2 weeks to get them. So, I would imagine they could do the same with the jars. Guest guest
Pam-----wow thats to bad about Walmart!!!! I have a Sally's which is a store that caters to Hair Salons & have all supplies for their needs! They too, have alot of plastic spray bottles, & non-spray bottles. I was buying my bottles at Sally's before I even knew WalMart had them!!! you can try K-Mart, any $store! check these places out before getting into a supplier. Maybe Christmas Tree Shop has them-----i have one about 30 minutes away. Do you have any of the stores i mentioned in your area? another WalMart thats not too far away maybe? I will have to get to mine because i love what WalMart has . Let me kow if you come up with anything!!!! *hugs* Misty http://community.webtv.net/mpw98/ForeverYoursATouch
Guest guest
Maybe I just came across a lady that didn't like me making her job complicated by ordering bottles for me. She was no help at all. I will check other stores in the area and see what I can find, or speak with the manager and see if he/she will order them for me. It's no real biggie though, labeling these bottles is not an easy task because of the way they're made. I just liked the fact when I ran out, a trip into town was quicker than ordering online. Guest guest
They can usually call stores within a 150-mile radius and see if they carry them, but usually they will only ship (or an associate actually drives to the other store to pick it up) merchandise if it is at least $100.00 or more (at least that's they way the stores here do it). I dont blame you! I havent had much luck at the local dollar stores for finding containers, but one time found these very large porceline grey lotion containers with white pumps for only 1.00 a piece! These are real expensive looking too; to buy online would probably be at LEAST 2.00 a piece! So sometimes you can hit it lucky
