Guest guest
Hi Donna, I know what you mean about running out of time. Getting cardio, abs AND yoga in is a challenge if you're doing it all in one setting. That's why I break mine up. I know a lot of you that have to go to work have to fit in what you can, so I understand that. I get up at 5 am and get my yoga and abs done before my little one gets up then after supper in the evening I do my cardio. I got up this morning thinking "if I would just do it all in one workout, I wouldn't have to get up as early. But I hate super long workouts and I hate hurrying so how I'm doing it now is working. ~~
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I was in the mood for something basic, low impact and a little lower intensity this morning - I figured that tuesday's cardio workout nearly killed me for some reason and tomorrow is RTTC, and that almost did me in last week - so I should go with something not too taxing for today. I was set for one of 's 2 mile walks, but then I stumbled across an indoor walking DVD I picked up at Ross - walk-adobics with Abdo. I had never heard of him before, but thought I'd give it a try. Fortunately, I didn't spend a whole lot of $$ on this DVD! It is pretty boring and doesn't have much in the way of fun factor or intensity. He does basically a march in place with different arm movements for 30 minutes - at least changes it up! He is also very chatty and has this fake laugh which is annoying. The background exercisers look bored and one of them is using really poor form! I should have stuck with !! I think this one is going in the trade or give-away pile! For abs I did YBB Core, first workout. That was good! I still need to do yoga - I was going to do some YBB yoga, but I ran out of time. I really am missing the yoga part of this rotation, it seems that once I finish up my cardio and abs I'm out of time. It is hard for me to motivate myself to do anything at night, often, after my DD goes to bed I just want to relax with a book or something. Maybe I'll just have to dedicate one weekend day to yoga - it is better than nothing, I suppose. here are my plans for the rest of this week: tomorrow - RTTC, I also plan to add on 20 minutes of cardio - I'll do 10 minutes as a warm-up since my version of RTTC has no warm-up and then I'll add 10 minutes on to the end (I figure, this plus Monday's cardio add-on will help make up for my missed cardio on Sunday!) saturday - tae bo, abs and hopefully some yoga! Sunday - long yoga practice (I may switch up Sat/Sun depending on how things go...) Hope to accomplish all this! ANd, I still have hopes of a yoga session tonight. Take care, Donna __________________________________________________
