Guest guest
Hi Gretchen: Yes....I do talk in my sleep. I entertain my sweetie during the night. Apparently I talk quite loud and clear as well as full sentences most of the time. I can be animated at times waving my hands thru the air, etc. says I laugh a lot in my sleep also. I have caught myself talking twice in the last 3 months, just before I am awake. I have never done this before. This can be really funny because has been in the room on both occasions and says " I told you so " . What a hoot. does wear ear plugs but she can still hear me loud and clear. I am with you...how many of us with CMT talk in our sleep? Regards,
Guest guest
My three year old daughter has talked in her sleep since they day she could talk. I can hear her in her bed saying things like " that's mine " or I want to go to grandma's " . It cracks us up sometimes. Mandy
Guest guest
Hi Gretchen, I do talk in my sleep and have since I was a child as well. My oldest daughter also talks in her sleep and has already started to have symptoms of neuropathy and so we have the first available appointment for her with a pediatric neurologist to see if she does have the CMT like mine. Guest guest
Hi Gretchen, After my son's feet surgery two month ago, he started talking and screaming every night in his sleep. I can hear he says " don't... I am better... " . I think it's stress related. As he is getting better now, we haven't heard anything at night. Guest guest
Hi Betty, I was just reading your post now and something came to my mind... Does your son taking any drugs? Sometimes drugs could affect his sleeping patterns... I really hope that he is much better now! Jo
Guest guest
H Gretchen, I think we all do that sometimes...not at all times...I do not know the reasons why? I think I will try to find out more facts...I will let you know when I found out more! Jo
Guest guest
Gretchen, I've also talked in my sleep -- not all the time, but fairly regularly. Sometimes I wake myself up and sometimes someone is around and tells me about it later. My sister used to tease me about some of the things I said as a child.
