Guest guest
Hi, I have a question with the use of Versed during medical procedures. I recently had a colonscopy. The doctor used Versed to sedate me during the procedure, but it didn't work. He used the maximum amount he could, but it still didn't work and I remained awake during the whole procedure. I have had procedures before when Versed worked, but this time it didn't. Does the fact that I have CMT have anything to do with this? I have had several major surgeries with general anesthetic in the last few years also, which I had no problems with. My CMT has also worsened significantly lately. Has anyone else had this experience? I am concerned if in the future I need a procedure done. What else can a doctor use for sedation if versed no longer works on me? I would appreciate anyone's input on this subject.
