Carolyn-You can have accomadations written in..We have written in Josh's

plan that recess can not be used as punishment. He needs that break, he

needs to socializeee...instead we use after school learning as monitored

by the resource teacher. Sometimes she will look at what he has done &

decide the intent & effort were there..bring it together for the next

day, or not enough effort on the true task was made..a form comes home

to be signed for after school learning..which is detention by a new

name.

Does she do homework on the computer? That might help...as it is

much easier to have it neat & perfect. Josh does most work on the

computer as written in his plan.......other wise he errasored to holes

on the paper. If it is a form..he copies it on the copy machine

first..so we always have a clean perfect form in spare. of course it

helps we have a home copier... but it has cut way down on melt downs

over homework.If you have a scanner could be used also. Joy
