Guest guest
Awesome news for all of you!!! Bridgette, where in Ohio are you? I am sure you have told me before, but I can't remember. Gail****************************************** Re: D. Hi- He's completely over his RSV, thank goodness. I talked with Jane at Shriners ( isnt there anymore---) today and the anesthesiologist today and it looks like its a "GO" for the 14th- It's been hard keeping the kids at home away from so many germs, but I want him in the cast ASAP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they don't get sick before we leave on Monday. Thanks for checking! Claflin <noellesmommy@...> wrote: How is Evan doing? Guest guest
Bridgette, Awesome news about . Sounds like she will have a wonderful summer. I love to read about how great many of "our" kids are doing. I'm so glad you gave the Mehta video to Dr. . Now other kids can have a chance to have the help has had. That's what makes the difference in this world. All of us parents should be doing our best to help others like us. Where would we be if had only cared about Olivia!!! Give our love to your family. She was just in A baby Contest a week ago and won magizane appeal so was go to the State finals in May. Also when we were in Erie they had a booklet and I opened it and there was and Miss Metha,Dr. picture from the storie they did on while we were there in Nov.I'll try to scan it and send it to the group if anyone goes there you'll have to pick up a copy.I asked Dr. if when I gave him the video of Miss Metha. And tryed the Casting on if he thought he would have so many little scoliosis kids He said that its been great to be trying to help all of them and the He looked at and said Shes the one who started it all. We hope everyone get the results has for anyone that is new here had an S curve at 66 degrees and 55 degrees when we started the casting and now is 13 degrees and has been holding since the summer of 2005 Dr. said he would treat as a noramal child at this time and that we have come a long way. Good luck to all I will keep eveyone posted on her results. Bridgette, and from Ohio <basketsnboyds@...> wrote: Yeah-she was really nice. She was shadowing h's doc and I knew that she was going to be taking heathers place. When I talked to heather she said she was moving to Cleveland and Jane would be caring for the infantile scoliosis babies. She is really nice. I am on the count down till next Thursday - h needs to stay healthy to get the MRI in Pittsburgh - I was freaking out on the doc's office wanting an antibiotic or something and Jane talked to Dr. Khoury and he said he would still do the casting on the 30th if she was sick and missed the MRI appt - only thing is while in Pittsburgh - they would have to remove her cast and give her the MRI and then come back here and get her cast back on the next day. UGH! My prayers are with you Jen that Evan is healthy come next monday - I'm sure he will be. We can't put them in a bubble - can we? The weather should be really nice by the time you get here - this weekend in the 60's -- WOW a heat wave. Best Wishes & h Claflin <noellesmommy@...> wrote: That's great that he is over his RSV. Guest guest
Hi , was 28 months old when we started her casting. she had a total of 9 cast over a two year period.during that time she was out of cast twice for a week and then from May to Aug. of 2005 and then was back in for 2 1/2 months until Nov. 2005. she was out during those times because ounce she gave the puupy a bath and got her cast wet so we went to our local ER and had it cut off and then went the following week for her cast and then another time we went to have her cast change and after they cut it off 2 hours later she started to run a temp. she we went home and then came back the following week to have it put back on .And then in May when we were in SLC Shrinners for the research she had it taken off due to it being to small and we just kepted her out for the summer.
