kids, grades, stress ,hormones

Hello, I havent posted for sometime but have been reading all the

posts. I was reading about the stress and kids. I have been wondering

about that myself. We found out a few months ago that 2 of our

children have CMT.

Our 15 yr old's grades are slipping. He started wearing AFOs before Xmas. But

he was excited about getting them and liked that they helped his walking so

much. He has always been a good student in school. But now he is having

problems. He is failing 2 classes and it's mostly that he just forgets to hand

in the assignments. And he is so moody!! I know he is a teenager and in ninth

grade and that alone can be hard plus to have CMT on top of all that.

And getting him to talk is like running into a brick wall!! He tells me having

CMT does not bother him and that he is glad that he finally has a name to what

he has and so on. But this isn't like him to have problems in school. I just

dont know what to do to help him.

Everything I have tried just doesn't seem to be working.
