Dan also may have had PTSD, but if so the EMDR was not carried on long enough to address that. Judy Re: 7 year old with ocd HI Judy:Are you taking about EMDR? According to several OCD experts like Dr. Claiborn and Dr. Grayson, EMDR and hypnosis do not unfortunately workwith OCD although they can be effective with other anxiety disorders.Steve also has PTSD so we have considered trying EMDR, but his PTSD seemsto have improved along with improvement in the OCD. Sometimes I wonder ifhe really did have PTSD.
