Guest guest
It's been out for months, it's just new to Collage. It wasn't supposed to be released anywhere until August/September, but because they started offering it as a bonus workout on the Elite set (depending on when you caught the infomercial/ordered they had a different bonus workout. They've offered just about everything--'s cookbook, 's Favorite Moves, Mission Spt Training: Lower Body--I just saw this offering the other day. I can't remember if they offered the Fat Blasting Cardio or Upper Body or the Stability Ball workout (which was originally to have been part of the Elite set) they put it in 's store around February/March. I love it but it's not " killer cardio " so a lot of the old schoolers don't like it because of that. But the feel of the workout reminds me of the Live series. Just the fun you have and the energy of the crew. The music is the same type that has been creating for the workouts. It's been a while since I've done it so I don't recall all the moves, but I don't remember anything being new in it. So same Tae Bo on a mission type moves. IIRC, it's about 45 minutes. That's about the *only* thing I don't like about the GT/Gaiam workouts they're all 45 minutes or less. We're hoping for next years Infomercial set that he'll have some full hour workouts in there. They're going to be filming for 3-4 days beginning September 13th I believe. And they'll have a " live " workout like they did for the Elite set. It would be nice if the winner was featured more promintently. IIRC, Marisa said they're filming 9 workouts. No gory details have been given yet. Marisa is going to do her recap diary again but Gaiam has to approve it before it's posted so nothing too detailed is leaked. But she does let us know as much as is allowed. If you'd like , I'll post about new stuff. It seems that so many are negative about any of the new workouts if the cardio ones are not clones of the Live/Get Ripped series and they're not interested in any of the strength/toning ones, so I've just been keeping it all to myself unless I see something specifically asking. Guest guest
>the winner of what? Last year, they started a contest to allow someone a trip to the filming of the meat of the infomercial and be in the 8 minute workout. Last year, they allowed for the " crowd " to come down and " workout " with the crew and there were a few shots of them. The person who won was down as part of the crowd and there was just a quick shot of her in the crowd shot. >whoo-hoo! go, billy, go! i think that it is great that he continues to make new workouts all of the time! Yes, he's continuing to make new workouts for us. Hopefully they'll all be available at the same time. The Stability Ball workout was to have been part of the original Elite offering but they didn't have it finished in time. >oh, no, sandie!! please please post here about any new taebo workouts!! we all would love to hear about them! LOL! yes i understood that when i first heard the title... i thought it was a good idea for billy to do that, since his old live tapes are so rare. some days i wonder why he couldnt just take one of those old workouts, change a move or two, and re-tape them? he still has 2 of the same backgrounders and he could use the same music, or similar. i guess that might be too close to copyright infringement or something, but heck, i would do it! LOL :*carolyn.
Guest guest
I really like the Stability Ball workout...it's not a " killer " as you do maybe 2 or 3 sets of everything, but he works the entire body with it. And he utilizes the ball in just about all of the workout. You may only have a knee on the ball while working your biceps for example or he may have you sitting on the ball and do overhead presses.
