Guest guest
My two daughters, granddaughter and I just got back from the same Alaska cruse that Jim was on. My granddaughter was that Jim spoke about but I am the one that has CMT. I used just a simple walker because it was small and easy to carry around but I could not go on the gravel well at all so missed some of the tours like the one with the sled dogs. They would make a wheelchair available if I requested it. I have a scooter in my garage but my daughter did not think I needed it on the trip....she does not think of me as handicapped!!!!!! The day I left I read messages for the last time before leaving and there was Jim's message that he and his wife were going to Alaska at same time that we were going, so I made a point of looking for them. Found them without any trouble...Jim's red scooter was shinning out loud. I enjoyed the trip and would recommend it. Everyone was so helpful. Knowing about Jim's experience I would not hesitate to take the scooter. Jeanann
