Does your DH forget your anniversary often? What a bummer Carolyn, I'm so sorry about dh. But like you've said before it's not surprising, right? He doesn't normally celebrate those things??Anyway, I really hope today is better, I would vent to dh about how you feel. Maye he will somehow make you feel better. I sure hope your pup comes back too. Hang in there. Stay postive...

Hi Carolyn,

So sorry to hear about the crappy day....ugh! I hope

your dog is okay - keep us posted. My dog is an

escape artist and even though we spent quite a bit of

money to fence our yard she still gets out. I tie her

on a rope if I'm not there to watch her, DH just lets

her go and always " forgets " about how she can get

out.. GRR!!

I think I may have missed my workout opportunity for

today, so I also stumbled on the challenge, but we'll

pick ourselves up and start over!

Carolyn,

I'm sorry to hear about your dog and your dh forgetting your anniversary, that alone has to hurt. I'm hoping by the time you read this he will have remembered your anniversary and your little dog has came back home.

My day has been horrible too. Our daughter got a new job and we had to take her about 50 or so miles from where we live for orientation. and we ended up having to wait on her for 3 hours in a hot car. Frustrations built up and me and dh got into and are still into it. It seems like once I get in a bad mood it takes a lot to get me back to normal, I hate that feeling.

I haven't worked out yet today, but plan to this evening.

Hang in there.

Oh my gosh , 3 hours in a hot car? That's horrible.... Didn't you have the keys so you could at least get some air conditioning once in awhile? I would have died. I am so impatient when it comes to waiting on people.

looking forward to your report.

Well, my report is nothing lol ....well we did walk 2 1/2 miles with our dogs today, if that counts. That was before the long wait in the car.

We had so much to do today that I figured I'd take my one and only 2 straight days off for the month. I'm trying to pick 2 days each month and do no workouts, but do this just once a month of course lol

I was sort of forced into taking today off too with all that we've had to do. So I came home and done a few chores and took a nice hot shower and now I'm looking forward to my workout tomorrow. Things did eventually cool down and DH came in and said "can we start the day over?" I was like "YES!!"

I'm glad you can laugh about your anniversary. I am still so sorry that he missed it. Anniversary's mean a lot to women and I don't think men really realize that. I know they mean a lot to me. Men, what can you do?

thankyou michelle! you are so nice :-)

doggie came back, but when i finally reminded dh about the anniversary,

he said 'what? has the 10th come already?'. and well, yes, it did,

but our date was on the 11th! LOL i can only put on a laugh and

shake my head at him... cant do much else about it! being mad doesnt

help :-\

oh my, im sorry to hear that you had such a spat... it does happen

easily when everyone's tempers are already simmering. and yes, i hate

that 'bad mood' feeling too. i was still feeling peeved this morning

so i got up and did some cardio. that helped quite a bit!

and you will! looking forward to your report.

thanks! i will and hope that you will too.
