'the body shop'. i wont rate the rest because none of them really grab me like that one does. there is a country-wide store here in canada called 'the body shop'... they sell lotions/cleansers/etc... but i do believe that the store exists only in canada so hopefully that wouldnt prevent you from using the name too. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Actually, there are stores in the U.S. called The Body Shop that sell the same things and are undoubtedly the same company, so they would probably object if Darcy used that name. I liked One 2 One Fitness. I think that describes what you're doing, Darcy, and in an easy-to-remember way. Re: Names again for business.. Guest guest
Thank you Carolyn and everyone for your opinions. I do believe that unless the name is trademarked you can use it?? As long as you don't have another in your county. Which is kind of bizarre, I know. But in reading that's what it appears to me. However to find out if a name is trademarked is so confusing. For instance, I just did a search on " The Body Shop " , well it is trademarked but not once, many times???? That makes no sense, it's registered several times under different owners. UGH.. this is so fun. LOL..DarcyOn 8/11/06, Festival City Concrete <pvisser@...> wrote: Darcy Ledman wrote: >Can you PLEASE take a few seconds and reply/rate how you like the > names w/ 1 being the most liked 2 being the second liked hi darcy! there is one name that stands out for me... Guest guest
We have the same store here in the Netherlands.. Not sure if it matters but they might not like you having the same name - then again they might not care Re: Names again for business.. hi darcy! there is one name that stands out for me... Guest guest
Darcy, I vote for (1) One-2-one Personal Training (because it says exactly what you are selling), then (2) One-2-one Fitness, (3) The Body Shop (if there are no copyright issues), (4) Body Remodeling, (5) The Private Gym, (6) Custom Fit Training, (7) Premier Training, (8) Prescriptive Fitness Good luck! > > > ____ Premier Training > > ____ The Private Gym > > ____ One-2-One Personal Training > > ____ One-2-One Fitness > > ____ Custom Fit Training > > ____ The Body Shop > > ____ Prescriptive Fitness > > ____ Body Remodeling >
Guest guest
I’m sure choosing a name is difficult. Here are my opinions (feel free to ignore me): 4 ____ Premier Training At first glance I liked this one best, but I keep thinking of money – to me I think yeah she is the best but what is it going to cost my pocketbook. 5 ____ The Private Gym This is nice but it seems a bit snobby to me, reminding me of women who hire sexy built men to be their personal trainer so they can drool as they sweat 3____ One-2-One Personal Training Like this for the same reason as One 2 One Fitness. I must admit something bothers me about using a 2 in place of to, it makes me think of people who write two in place of to or too. But on the other hand it is cute 2 ____ One-2-One Fitness I like this. It doesn’t seem too snobby, it reflects what you are and what you do 1 ____ Custom Fit Training – this makes me think of how when you get tailored clothes they fit perfectly, so the training should fit perfectly, though it could be seen as an indication that you are helping people achieve that perfect size (so weight and measurements are more important than health) 8 ____ The Body Shop 7 ____ Prescriptive Fitness 6 ____ Body Remodeling – this reminds me of a car shop and furniture shop. I don’t want to take my body in for remodeling I want to firm and shape it up -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
