Hi Dave

I am not writing to give you an answer, but to support what you are saying. I

see an overabundance of 'variation' in programmes with little or no

justification. I was even at the NSCA conference in Vancouver last year when a

speaker cited 'variation' as the only reason to manipulate tempo. I do feel we

need to be more precise as to why we make and suggest such manipulations of the

training variables
