What could cause very high selenium lab (over 800)

I have a pt s/p VG May '10 whose annual labs came back with a high selenium

level, above 800. I thought that selenium is something that WLS patients would

more likely be low in. I have read that there is a positive link between high

selenium levels and diabetes but am not well informed on this. Her glucose is

104. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas of why selenium would be high?
