North Jersey Nutrition is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Registered Dietitian to provide weight management, clinical , and bariatric nutritional counseling to a their growing patient population in the North Bergen and Teaneck, NJ offices. The position requires between 20-30 hours per week to start with the potential to increase hours based on patient need. Requirements: Must be a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and be fluent in English and Spanish Duties include: •Provide the appropriate patients with a nutrition pre-surgical assessment to determine if they are good candidate for surgery• Evaluate patient’s eating habits by conducting nutritional screening and dietary analysis • Develop modified diets for each patient and provide follow up care • Assure the nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation related to the patient's nutritional status is complete and accurate • Other office duties as assigned The successful candidate for the position: • Must be fluent in English and Spanish• Is an eloquent, persuasive speaker who is at ease giving presentations and conducting support groups. • Has excellent oral and written communication skills • Is passionate about nutrition • Thrives in an environment in which s/he has significant autonomy but nonetheless is a genuine team player who works well and willingly with others • Is self-motivated, hard-working, responsible, ambitious and committed to building a thriving practice If interested please send your resume with a cover letter to Cohen, MS, RD, CDN at info@... or fax to 201-227-8327 Cohen, MS, RD, CDNRegistered Dietitian and NutritionistEnglewood, Teaneck and North Bergen, NJwww.CohenNutrition.com
