,The surgeon that I work for has been using it with our patients for the past 3 years. The patients don't complain about the taste at all. It mixes well and has a smooth consistency. It does however give them all diarrhea. It seems to be a good choice for those pts with renal issues due to lower minerals ( I can't remember the specifics other than it was an approved choice w/ the renal RD for an ESRD pt for pre- op diet.
