Bluepoint Surgical Group has an immediate opening for a FT or PT (with flexibility to advance to FT) Registered Dietitian to work between three of its Northern Virginia offices in Stafford, Woodbridge, and Fair Oaks. The RD will work in an outpatient private practice setting with patients seeking bariatric surgery.Responsibilities include:

• pre-operative nutrition education in individual and group settings

• post-operative follow up

• bloodwork monitoring

• support group facilitation

• educational material development

The RD plays a critical role in the multidisciplinary team consisting of surgeons, dietitians, exercise specialists and behavioral specialists.We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic employee with excellent interpersonal skills. The RD must be able to effectively communicate to other members of health care team.
