Hi All,I have a patient that is 2+ years post-op from an adjustable band that was using Optifast as a meal supplement to help maintain her weight. She is complaining that she can not longer order Optifast (previously ordering from bariatric choice) I noticed on the Optifast website that it is now a medically managed product. The patient complains that other shakes are too think and make her gag. Can anyone recommend shake that is comparable? Thank you, I am new to the bariatric world! Some patients do use shakes for one meal replacement a day. This is better than skipping meals. Other shakes include Slimfast Low Carb, no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast, EAS Advantage or homemade shakes using whey or soy protein powder.

Good luck in your career in bariatrics!
