Guest guest
Hello, I have recently started working with bariatric patients. My office has recommended Vita4Life to all patients since before I started working here. For patients with the DS we recommend 12 per day. However, this does not seem sufficient for any of our DS patients. Many DS patients come in for a lab review with multiple deficiencies despite compliance. Many patients switch to the VitaLady regimen and have more success with that. I would like to change the vit/mineral recommendations for these patients as our current recommendation really just does not seem to work for them. Would anyone be willing to share their specific vitamin/mineral recommendations for DS patients? Do you give a MVT, or give each fat soluble vitamins separately, are they in dry form, how much, how often, what brand, etc? Thanks so much for your help in advance, Doerman, R.D.
