Bariatric conferences in the states

hi there, i am a bariatric dietitian practicising in the UK and have worked in bariatrics for about 18months now. I am keen to attend a bariatric conference in the states as a way of finding out more about what you are doing over there, to network with other dietitians and to learn more about bariatrics. I did see there is a ASMBS bariatric conference in florida in november. would anyone recommend going to that one? don't want one that is all about nutrition as know quite a bit already about bariatric nutrition, wanted to widen my knowledge on bariatrics as a whole not just nutrition. could anyone give advice on good conferences to attend and if anyone is going to this one in November? would be good to strike up some partnerships with other dietitians that are going.
