When many people start their careers, they feel like they'll be working forever, and that commitment can seem a bit daunting, if not overwhelming. I have to admit that I'm different. From the moment I started studying chiropractic, I was so drawn to the profession I hoped I could work forever, treating patients and improving their lives. And now, as Activator Methods celebrates our 45th anniversary, I am excited to look back and to look ahead.

We have accomplished so much in four and a half decades, introducing chiropractors worldwide to a new way of adjusting patients, having our technique integrated into the curriculum of a majority of U.S. chiropractic colleges, and being recognized as the world's most widely used instrument adjusting technique. We've revolutionized chiropractic and remain the only instrument adjusting technique supported by clinical trials. Our commitment to continuous improvement is unending, as we work to serve both our patients and our fellow doctors. I attribute our success to you – the loyal practitioners who have adopted the Activator Method as their preferred technique and stayed with us through its development. Thank you for inspiring me every day, and for motivating me to continue to improve our technique and the tools we use to administer it. I look forward to working with you for many more decades!

Research compilation DVD free to seminar attendees

Activator Methods recently compiled its complete library of research papers onto a DVD for easy access by students and practitioners wishing to reference the studies that support the technique. This valuable resource is provided to every seminar attendee at no charge, to enable doctors to review case reports and other research that proves the efficacy of the Activator Method and as a way to reinforce the instruction provided at seminars. Research can also be accessed at www.activator.com in the Research section of the Activator Methods website.

Activator expands Basic training in spring 2012

Due to increasing demand from students and doctors who have not received instruction on the Activator Method through college curriculum, Activator Methods is expanding access to Basic Scan Protocol training in its spring 2012 seminar schedule. The Basic Scan Protocol continues to be available through Activator Online, and now will be offered in Orlando, Houston, Kansas City, Orange County (California), Portland, Chicago, Atlanta, San and Minneapolis. In celebration of Activator's 45th anniversary, special pricing will be offered to students wishing to attend an Activator seminar in the cities listed. WFC Secretary General presents to Toronto attendees

In late 2011, World Federation of Chiropractic Secretary General Chapman attended the Activator Methods seminar in Toronto and addressed a standing-room only crowd. The Secretary General shared insights on the state of chiropractic around the worldwide, referencing trends in care, challenges facing practitioners in different areas of the world, and what the future holds for chiropractic across continents. More than 100 seminar attendees had the opportunity to hear his comments and received instruction from Activator Co-founder and CEO Dr. Arlan W. Fuhr.
