Guest guest
Hi all, Mom presented with her 5 mo old baby girl who she describes as being Colicky since 2 months. She can not think of anything that may have happened around this time to cause a change. MD diagnosed and treated for acid reflux with no change. She describes the girl as crying all day (of course not while in the office), having 4 hour screaming fits, being very rigid and looking very uncomfortable when held or being picked up. Baby kicks repeatedly only her left left while on her back, and she goes into neck and back extension with her knees bent and heels in the air while on her stomach- Superman. While in the office she only would turn to her head to the right, but older brother was on that side, mom did not know if she favored turning her head to one side more. [cesarean birth, no complications with pregnancy, baby's head was " jammed in the pelvic canal due to heart shaped pelvis " says mom. First child was cesarean as well.] No problems with bowel movements, she had a full diaper. No abdominal Left leg was short, but corrected with gentle pelvic manipulation, C1 on right, mid thoracic tenderness. I used Logan Basic and activator. 1 treatment so far. Any ideas on the rigid posture, or extension while on her belly? Or any thoughts on further management are always welcome. Thanks everyone!!! a Lehman Corvallis
