Thoughts on United Healthcare

Greetings:Last week I asked for your thoughts on United Healthcare Insurance.Without question, 100% responding thought this insurance was lousy at best.Many of us have had to accept insurance into our practices to be able to serve our patients. We have seen EOB's constantly decrease to the point where often we are being paid less than half of what we charge. And, these charges are fair and appropriate for the services we render. This not only happens to us but our allopathic, osteopathic, and other degreed collegues as well.I recently asked my bank and insurance agent if they would accept 50% of the payment due as payment in full. They just laughed.As they are patients of mine, I told them that is what their insurance pays me. Still, just a laugh.
