Guest guest Posted December 14, 2011 Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 Hi everyone: My 14 year old son experienced several minutes of tachycardia today with no other symptoms. He tried to count his HR, said it was over 190 bpm. He was sitting on the school bus, no LOC, didn't feel dizzy - just felt his heart racing for no reason. He is not real active, has grown 3+ inches in the last few months to 5'10 " , weighs 145 lbs. He was fine when I talked to him tonight (he lives with his Mom most of the time). My first thought was WWP, any other ideas? Any recommendations for a cardiologist in Portland or Salem? Thanks, I am a bit freaked out over this.....
