The hearing for the " STAY " regarding Dry Needling has not been set yet.

According to Dave McTeague, as of this morning, the appellate attorney is still

preparing our appeal of the stay.

Dry needling

Does anyone know of the fate of our dry needling rights in our state yet?

Dear Naturopaths on this list serve. Your board as of this

date has no answer as to the number of post graduate hours required for you to

be trained in Dry Needling. For your protection I suggest that you get a letter

from your board stating that whatever post graduate CME you have taken to date for

this physical therapy modality is sufficient for you to practice it.

I know they have stated things to you before about it being

in your scope of practice etc. - and from my communications with them they did

not require any training what so ever in order to do Dry Needling - but as of

today, I suggest you get something in writing from them acknowledging your 24

hours of training and that as far as they are concerned you can practice it.

You would have a hard time answering insurance companies about billing if

your board is not clearly behind you.
