CCO's and access to Chiropractic care

Ok folks I have done my part to keep Chiropractic front and center in the minds of OHA gang when they set up these CCO's one day soon.  I have enclosed my letter for the curious.  Merry Christmas to you all on listserve.  You guys and gals are the best in the west-or anywhere for that matter.

Schneider DCPDXI have been practicing chiropractic here in Portland for over 20 years now.  In all that time I have never had any of my treatments for patients covered by the Oregon Health  Plan.  This has been very frustrating because I know my care could save the state a good deal of money by helping patients gain pain relief without the use of dangerous and often addictive drugs.

  I am writing to encourage your group to make sure that the new CCO's provide ready access to chiropractic care once they are set up.  I feel certain the people of Oregon will appreciate the addition of chiropractic to the plan and the state will save substantial money in the long run.
