Hi Guys!

I apologize for cross posting to lists, but since this

time yesterday I have been putting out fires. My nose

started to bleed again so I had to go 70 miles one way

to the hospital for an IV and the drug that makes my

body make more clotting factors. One dose lasts a week

to 10 days and I've had 3 doses in 3 weeks. I see my

hemotologist next week.

My new, timid, abused dachshund, Cali, lept out of my

arms in fear seeing my neighbor who was there the day

I picked Cali up at the airport and whom Cali sees as

a threat still. She didn't eat well this morning. I am

watching her carefully.

My 4 year old doxie, Lucy, rolled out of the bed last

night. There used to be a flexible box there that she

used to get up on the bed. Now there is a set of doggy

steps which is not good to fall on.

Cali is making a move to be the dominant dog of the

pair. I am torn between the love I feel in rehabbing

this little refugee from a no-scruples and not wanting

my beloved companion of 4 years suffer any harm

because of my decision to rescue Cali. I love both

dogs deeply and want the best for both.

; )
