Guest guest
Minga, This is another of the respiratory and metabolic dysfunctions that reacts to the dairy molecule and its' contents. While the current physiology that I've read about doesn't include any reference to this suppression, a trial of no animal dairy, using only plant dairies over 7 - 10 days, could provide a vital clue to her particular physiology. Look for more infor re sacrodosis at www.notmilk.com) Dairy is infamous for intermitten throat/mouth glandular swellings. The thyroid can be restricted through the enzyme pathways. With an abundance of polyunsaturates, manufacture of an important stomach enzyme is prevented, the one needed to cleave T4 from T3, activating T3. Adding coconut oil to her universe usually balances this enzymatic activity, empowering manufacture of the enzyme, thereby improving the thyroid pathway. (one to 3 tablespoons/day is usually adequate. She can do that throug the use of oil or coconut milks and their products. ) SunnySunny Kierstyn, RN DC Fibromyalgia Care Center of Oregon 2677 Willakenzie Road, 7CEugene, Oregon, 97401541- 654-0850; Fx; 541- 654-0834www.drsunnykierstyn.com From: AboWoman@...Date: Wed, 30 Nov 2011 17:27:12 -0500Subject: saroidosis and thyroid interactions question for list. I have a patient with a diagnosis of Sarcoidosis. She's been doing pretty well for about 5-6 yrs. Recently, her thyroid enlarged dramatically. I sent her back to PCP who ran tests. I haven't seen the results, but the patient says, hre doctor told her the numbers were no different than previous tests. She isn't feeling much worse, but she agrees with me that the swelling in her neck is quite a bit larger than normal. I told her to just watch for any new symptoms and report them to her PCP. I kept adjusting her on a regular basis. SHe comes in 2X/month on wellness care appointments and has done so for 2-3 yrs. Interestingly, the swelling reduced again. I wondered if anyone else has experience treating sarcoidosis patients and if so, have you seen anything like this? This is my only sarcoidosis patient. I've only treated 3 in my career and this is the only one I see regularly. thanks, Minga Guerrero DC abowoman@...
