Guest guest
Vern. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have some coordinated " talking points " prepared for various far-flung DCs that attend these meetings. A coordinated approach is always best. My 2 cents are as follows: Let's hit them in the emotional breadbasket by reminding them that Oregon is a strategic, forward thinking state that is rightly and correctly focused on the following issues: 1- Sustainability (we even have a special office of sustainability that facilitates sustainable transportation, architecture, business practices, agriculture, community planning, etc.) 2- The organic food/agriculture (we have an office of enviromental quality, farm to school programs) and we have a world-famous Organic-certification organization/non-profit in Oregon Tilth. 3- Inovative, clean and green business: www.oregon4biz.gov etc. 4-Also, Oregon has always been a state that purports to respect people's " right to choose. " 5- Oregon has always prided itself in in identifying " unfair " competition and trying to ensure that within the business private sector, competition is relatively fair and not heavily weighed in favor of one company or one sector of industry. With that said, We can say that chiropractic is an area where you have 100% Organic, clean, green, sustainable, environmentally-friendly small/micro business. These are all-natural health care, owner-operated, micro-businesses that are integrated into the community and are " on the ground " , every day, taking care of Oregon's " greatest resource " (its people) in ways that are natural and sustainable, safe, effective and cost-effective. Citizens in oregon should have a reasonable right to choose this time-tested form of care (should they so desire) without significant constraints, blockages, or unreasonable limitations. Is that so much to ask? Guest guest
HI , Great ideas ..... for my quadrant, I am more concerned about the statistic of Oregon being #3 in the use of narcotics for pain control .... wouldn't that put more people in our offices? Those stats are what are keeping our Oregon population from being available for work. my 2 cents this monday am SunnySunny Kierstyn, RN DC Fibromyalgia Care Center of Oregon 2677 Willakenzie Road, 7CEugene, Oregon, 97401541- 654-0850; Fx; 541- 654-0834www.drsunnykierstyn.com From: spbkchiro@...Date: Mon, 3 Oct 2011 05:00:03 +0000Subject: Re: "Statewide Coordinated Care Organization meetings" Vern.
