Guest guest
Dr. Rea Exonerated after anonymous complaint The Texas Medical Board has ended its prosecution of one of the deans of environmental medicine. J. Rea, M.D., a board certified cardiovascular surgeon and founder of the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, now stands exonerated of all charges. The Board had accused Dr. Rea of **failure to practice medicine in an acceptable pro- fessional manner consistent with public health and welfare.** *Quackwatchers* Baratz and Steve Barrett who themselves are being sued by Doctor's Data, were unsuccessful in their bid to back the complaint. ------------ I think this makes 41 lawsuits that Barrett has instigated - as well as 41 lawsuits he has lost. Barrett seems to have forgotten that one must be both correct and do their homework if they have any desire to win. Dr. Barrett of Quackwatch Exposed In Court Cases At trial, under a heated cross-examination by Negrete, Barrett conceded that he was not a Medical Board Certified psychiatrist because he had failed the certification exam. The most damning testimony before the jury, under the intense cross-examination by Negrete, was that Barrett had filed similar defamation lawsuits against almost 40 people across the country within the past few years and had not won one single one at trial. During the course of his examination, Barrett also had to concede his ties to the AMA, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Food & Drug Administration (FDA). _http://www.canlyme.com/quackwatch.html_ (http://www.canlyme.com/quackwatch.html) blessings Shan
