Guest guest
You might ask her to write out for you EVERYTHING she eats for a week. Tell her it's important you see what she really is doing and to not leave anything out, or you can't help her as much.Water? and minerals to get it into the cells? If she's eating any dairy products, have her eliminate ALL dairy for 2 weeks and see what happens. If her skin improves, then it's a no-brainer.Bowels - if toxic, not moving well, will contribute / cause acneIf changes in the above are not enough, then I'd suggest she go on a "cleanse" of staying away from ALL fast food and junk and eat only vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, whole grains, such as whole brown rice.If that's too much for her, tell her she can try in increments and may find what she needs to avoid. You'll need to educate her on which meats she can and cannot have.NO fried foods so no fried fish.Hopefully she will eliminate all cookies, muffins, cake, etc. also.....and that may be a lot for a teenager Janet L Rueger, DCCertified in CraniopathyCertified BodyTalk Practitioner149 Clear Creek Dr., # 105Ashland, OR, 97520541-690-6799bodytalk@... Guest guest
Ann, This is a scenario that has been repeated dozens of time through the last decades.....to me, it smacks of an MD creating a person believing they are a victim to the world. We ALL have staph and staph and more staph on our skin. Teens can be reknown for periodic poor self care. Yes, an antibiotic would take the current crop down, allowing the kid to believe all he/she needs is a periodic jolt of Big PHarma. Once again, he is taught: I don't have to do anything but depend on pills! This is how we got into this fine mess! my 2 cents this am SunnySunny Kierstyn, RN DC Fibromyalgia Care Center of Oregon 2677 Willakenzie Road, 7CEugene, Oregon, 97401541- 654-0850; Fx; 541- 654-0834www.drsunnykierstyn.com drjdyson1@...CC: ; joanschultze@...From: bluepearl2001@...Date: Fri, 28 Oct 2011 16:21:19 +0000Subject: Re: Acne information wanted I once had a patient with severe acne that did not respond to recommended dietary changes, though there was SOME improvement.I sent her to a dermatologist to have some of the pustules (zits) tested. Turned out she had a raging staff infection. Along with some powerful probiotics, she was given an antibiotic and her skin cleared like magic. Sometimes it's more than just diet, though it is reasonable to assume that had her diet been 'cleaner', she might not have developed the severe acne in the first place.
