Guest guest
Sometimes messages do not appear to go thru right away when you post them/email them and then they show up a day later. This is because, has a spam filter that I, as list owner, have no control over. If a message is marked for spam it will not get to the list until I check it and release it. Since I only check this list once a day (on avg.) sometimes it might take 24 hours. There are various reasons why the software might think your legit email is spam but the number one reason is: - The psot/email has opt-out instructions and/or opt-out links at bottom. In other words, when/if you forward something to the list that came from another list/email that you are on, then the software " knows " that it is not something that you wrote might be spam. So when you forward something to list, remove all extraneous stuff that is not necessary such as unrelated/irrelevant links and messages will go thru. By far, the two posters who get marked for spam the most are Vern (#2) and y (#1) so you two docs should be particularly mindful of the links at the bottom of anything that you forward to list. john collins, dc
Guest guest
also does not seem to play well with some other email providers. I get everything from Oregondc's directly to my Earthlink inbox, but another group's posts all go to my spam folder. G'figger.
