Guest guest Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 Came upon this power point presentation which has some good info and slides regarding early recognition of CV risk and the failure of relying on "risk factors" only, and inadequate monitoring of treatment (drugs). A good slide (#4) reveals how the majority of people admitted to hospital for CV dz have "normal" LDLs, HDLs and TGs. Of course, in the end the need for "poly-tx" i.e many drugs is shown!
