Guest guest Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 Hi , I had great success (personally) with eccentric gastrocnemius and soleus contractions, sort of a heel-drop maneuver... Affected foot on the edge of a stair and s-l-o-w-l-y dorsiflexing the ankle (dropping the heel) with the knee straight (gastroc) and knee flexed (soleus). Took a few days, but results were impressive and (so far) long lasting. Ted F may also have some suggestions A.
