Guest guest
Well the New year has arrived, we had one heck of a week... Three days before Christmas, the tooth I had pulled the week before became infected, there seem's to be part of the tooth still in there... Day before Christmas had to take hubby to the ER, he cut his hand on a glass, needed 3 stitches... Christmas day I got a major sinus infection... Day after Christmas 7 of us out of 13 came down with the flu? or was it food poisoning?, not sure... The least sick was 2 days, the youngest and myself lasted 5 days, and 4 of us had our flu shot! Five of us were in the same house with One bathroom, all had vomiting and diarrhea... My sinus infection finally broke Sunday and that helped with taking away the killer headache... I was the last to get the flu but there was still everyone else down, I was able to stay on my feet except for 2 days, everyone helped each other and we made it through... Other than all this, we made it as nice as we could, it could have been worse... How did the rest of you cope through this holiday season??? Guest guest
How awful Helen, it may have been from food poisoning, that sort of imitates flu., the teal flu needs a few days to incubate and show its ugly head. I feel for all of you, when I did get food poisoning last February I wished for death as a better alternative Nothing really can be done until its over, lots of liquids of the clear kind, yogurt, and chicken or other clear soups until the pain subsides. The immune system will kick in at some point, takes about two weeks .Weakness will be the order of the day for a long time after unfortunately. How is Ross's finger, it should be starting to heal nicely! About the piece of tooth left in, get thee to the dentist at once, infection can get serious if this is neglected. My back is killing me I think the stress of that awful sojourn into the woods did it. On Sunday a logger and two helpers went in there to pick up his logs, the skidder slipped, hit a tree and poor Terry was killed instantly.. I have had people tell me that I should have just turned around when I got onto that unpaved road, it was very narrow and had slopes at the edges, all sand, I instinctively thought keeping on to where I was sure there was a main road was correct thinking. that is why I did not even attempt to turn around, turns out that I was right That angel again with instructions!. This spine of mine having a curve in it is a pain. I am wearing a back brace right now and it relieves it., will never get better though, a lifelong problem.. Now I have some esophageal problem, I have trouble swallowing, going to the doctor as soon as I can drive. Hugs and love to all Anne Hugs Anne
