Guest guest
Fellow DC's, I have used this story in a number of presentations and had lost the connections to share. For those of you that have asked for the link, here it is. If you have never seen it, worth the effort. He is a man that knew how to live a life of passion, and how to end with perspective that is quite amazing. So, look at this video of Dr. Randy Pausch giving a commencement address at Carnegie Mellon. Pausch rose to fame for delivering "The Last Lecture," then writing the bestselling book of the same name, shortly after he was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. Pausch speaks about living your dream, finding your passion and learning from mistakes. For those of us with patients, friends or family members with serious life ending conditions, this might be a good resource to keep handy. After all the odds are 1 out of 1... He is amazing, Dr. Jim If I did this right the links are live, just click and go. Otherwise copy and paste into the command line of a new browser window. Some browser software does not support clickable links in emails for internet safety.
