Although information about family history might help establish what

diagnosis you have and how fast it might progress, generally, I don't

think that is what Social Security, Medicaid or work-based disability

programs are looking at. Your doctors' opinions as to whether you can

or should work and their skill at documenting that are the key. Danger

to further injure yourself by continuing to work (tripping and

falling) would seem also to be relevant.
