Guest guest
Hi all, I’m designing a pre and post screening exam for a wellness lifestyle thing. In addition to lab work, I want to include some tests in the clinic for health assessment. So far I have: Salivary pH test http://www.alkalizeforhealth.net/salivaphtest.htm Purchase: http://www.amazon.com/Dispenser-Hydrion-Papers-Strips-Testing/dp/B002ZYVU4O Zinc tally test https://www.metagenics.com.au/shop/index.cfm?fuseaction=item & id=254 Iodine test (Dr. Tyna thinks this one is inaccurate. Patients love it. What a party pooper.) http://www.qfac.com/articles/august/iodine.html http://hypothyroid.mivox.com/supplements/iodine_deficiency_testing_yourself__and_treatment Anyone have any interesting tests to help assess wellness? Guest guest
Measure the AA / EPA ratio. The higher the number the higher the inflammatory load. Ideal is 1.5, although a person with 3 is in good health. Cultures with 1.5 have almost no diabetes, heart disease and very little incidence of cancer. -- Eileen Machida, DC503-893-0125
Guest guest
We can purchase pH paper less expensively than Amazon. I get mine from Premier Research Labs, TX. I'm sure there are other sources, also. Seems I pay about $6. / roll.
