Guest guest
My son-in-law offered a Groupon for their classes only, health club and got something like 170 people to sign for a month of workout classes. They had to spread the influx of new people over a couple of months. Of course, the excitement of so many new members caused a “buzz” in the established members and staff. People enjoyed the classes so much, that they were able to convert quite a few to full paying members. Another friend made a similar offer for a chiropractic treatment and short massage. Tons of new patients but, from a strictly business point of view, the quality of prospects was poor. Years ago we did a coupon mailer and the people who came in from the offer were some of the 911 calls from “Cops”. Anyone have business end experience with Groupons? E. Abrahamson, D.C.
