Timing works out well for me in the mornings to eat an hour after my

workout. I get up at 5am and have coffee and then get busy with my

workout. Once I'm done, I shower, get dressed, make the bed, etc.

get my stuff together for lunch and snacks and then make a myoplex

lite shake and grab an apple for the drive to work. On the weekends

I will have a high fiber ceral, lite soy milk and banana for my first

meal after workout, however I think I need to add more protein to

it.

I enjoy visualizing the fat " melting off in sheets " every morning

during and after my workout.

I always try to do the empty stomach thing - I'm convinced it makes huge

difference. I never did that before I found BFL and I never lost weight :)

I'll eat within 15 minutes after a cardio session but usually It's

cottage cheese w/berries or a myoplex shake after 30 minutes.

I'm like you . I don't have that kind of time. If I get up at 5 to get

the exercise in, shower, eat and get out the door to work... well, I'm NOT

getting up at 4 to so that my stomach stays empty for an hour afterward. LOL...

mostly because then I just wouldn't do it.

I think it's more important, for me, at least... to actually DO the workout than

worry about those fine details. Now, as I do make progress if that changes so

be it. I'm not there yet!

Grace you make an excellent point: Getting in the workout is what's

important!! Don't sweat the small stuff. We all have different

schedules and time constraints and one size never fits all. Whether

you eat 15 minutes or 60 minutes after a work, the goal is the

WORKOUT.

I have to eat something small before my weight days because I find my

strength suffers if I haven't eaten anything. I just run out of energy

and it's no good if I can't lift the weights I need to build muscle.

Cardio days I do on an empty stomach though, and I usually only have

time to wait about half an hour before I eat, because I too have to

get going. In a perfect world I'd do things by the letter but I think

it pays to do whatever works for you if it's going to help you stick

to a program.

oh, i agree, do what you have to - besides we're all different here. I

feel so bad when you guys talk about getting nauseous and stuff, but

then I think...am I working hard enough?...should I be getting sick too?

hmmmm.... :)

I probably don't wait an hour if I do cardio first thing in the

morning. When I come in I cool off for a few minutes then go to the

shower. When I get out of the shower I eat. It's the best I can do

because by then I'm starving.
