Guest guest
Do they know what is Causing the mini strokes??? Those are Warning signs of a pending larger stroke if not taken care of... That doesn't make sense that they are waiting! without running tests to see what is causing the poor blood flow... ((( Caring Hugs )))Helen No, I'm only going to the hospital when I need an IVmed to stop my nose from bleeding profusely because ofa genetic bleeding disorder, vonWillebrand's disease.Once they diagnosed the ministrokes, they told me thatgoing to the hospital was pointless - the ER won't doanything but watch me. I can be observed by myneighbors at home, with my stuff, my animals, etc. Ifit lasts more than 24hrs, then I call my MD. OtherwiseI just talk to the MD when I go every 3 months.; )Willow Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Holidays
Guest guest
I am on Plavix to prevent an ischemic stroke. My strokes are more likely bleeds since I have a genetic bleeding disorder - vonWillebrand's disease. I was not sure about taking the Plavix, because of my bleeding problem. I've never had nosebleeds before (which are a problem with vonWillebrand's), but I've had 3 major bleeds in 3 weeks. I've had MRI's and other scans. It's just part of me and where I am. I've been having these for at least 10 years. ; ) Willow --- angelbear1129@... wrote: > > > Do they know what is Causing the mini strokes??? > Those are Warning signs of > a pending larger stroke if not taken care of... > That doesn't make sense > that they are waiting! without running tests to see > what is causing the poor > blood flow... > ((( Caring Hugs ))) > Helen > > No, I'm only going to the hospital when I need an > IV > med to stop my nose from bleeding profusely because > of > a genetic bleeding disorder, vonWillebrand'a > genetic > Once they diagnosed the ministrokes, they told me > that > going to the hospital was pointless - the ER won't > do > anything but watch me.
