Guest guest
<Hello , I know the restaurants and stores of Little India on Devon Avenue, too. Next time you are there, go into the Indian grocery store called Patel Brothers (north side of Devon) and check out all the Spices and their prices! You'll be going home with a truckload of cardamons, cloves, etc. India, the " Mother of Fragrances. " Thanks, Mom. Mark> Hello, Mark I think I know of the place. I will have to check it out. Pretty much all of the Indian grocery stores have ginormous bags of spices for cheap. I still have bags I got years ago! --------------------------------- Building a website is a piece of cake. Andrine replies: Janita, I read that and almost went weak in the knees. Cardamom, for me, is addictive. I can't get enough of it, and whatever the concoction would be that it would go into, if someone said to me, " Do you think we should put cardamom in this? " My answer would be a very instantaneous and resounding " YES! " No matter what it is -- soap, cookies, curry, lefse, oatmeal, perfume, bath bombs, car wax -- anything! And lychee... And mango... No wonder I'm swooning. I love those to distraction too. added: > MMMMMM I love kulfi. Never made it though. You lucky guy, ! If I lived near a Little India, I'd be there all the time. I think my other ethnic cooking would unfairly get shoved into the back seat of the food wagon. Thinking of cardamom in everything... Andrine
